Water Treatment
Introduction of water treatment
1. Water purification is a process of getting rid of harmful materials in water by ways of physics, chemistry and biology. To apply to specific purposes of water, they deal with the water by the process of filtration, coagulation, flocculation, corrosion and scale inhibitor.
2. Three processes of water treatment:
(1) Primary treatment: this treatment is through mechanical treatment by ways of grill, sedimentation or flotation.
It can get rid of stones, gravel and fat, iron and manganese ions.
(2) Secondary water purification is a biological treatment. Wastewater pollutants are degraded and converted to sludge under the action of microorganisms.
(3) Tertiary treatment is the depth of treatment of sewage, which includes the removal of nutrients and by chlorination, ultraviolet radiation or ozone technology for wastewater disinfection.
Water treatment classification
Water treatment includes sewage treatment and drinking water treatment. Sewage treatment consists of direct treatment and water recycles.
